Cal Poly Student Opera Theatre will present Giacomo Puccini’s comedic one-act "Gianni Schicchi" with orchestra! Performed in English with arias in Italian. The evening will also feature arias, duets and ensemble numbers featuring Cal Poly’s advanced Chamber Choir in works by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini and others. Produced and directed by applied voice faculty Amy Goymerac and conducted by Scott Glysson, director of choral activities and vocal studies.
The production is one of many scheduled events during Cal Poly’s 32nd annual Open House.
