“He is a smasher of cultural and classical music taboos. He is technically the most accomplished organist I have ever witnessed… And, most important of all, the most musical.” – The Los Angeles Times
This Halloween, revolutionary organist Cameron Carpenter will transport the audience back in time with a live-to-picture performance of the original horror masterpiece Nosferatu, complete with live music on the Forbes Pipe Organ. Before vampires sparkled or donned long black capes, acclaimed silent film director F.W. Murnau created the ultimate genre-defining, blood-sucking cult classic. Now, Cameron Carpenter, known for his formidable technical prowess and the athletic showmanship of his performance, will be performing his own original score for Nosferatu in spine-chilling detail. Get ready for a haunting cinema night that’ll have you shaking in your seat.
The “Nosferatu” film is provided by the holdings of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung in Wiesbaden.
