Bill Murray with Jan Vogler & Friends
Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 7:00pm
Actor Bill Murray and cellist Jan Vogler became friends in New York. Curious about each other’s artistic worlds and interests, they collaborated on a program showcasing the core of American values in literature and music. The project explores bridges artists have built between America and Europe. Twain, Hemingway, Whitman, Cooper, Bernstein, Gershwin and Foster are some of the strongest voices that influenced generations in America and offered a picture of the charm, energy and creative force of the New World. Murray’s love for classical music is young and his art of language is boundless – all the more reason to experience this fascinating encounter between great music and literature.
“I am bathing in this experience, really. I can’t get enough of it.” – Bill Murray
